Turquoise "Happy People" Necklace

This necklace features a tribal pendant engraved by the Naga people of the northeast India and Burma regions. The images of the people engraved in clamshell show their arms up, which I'm interpreting to be joyful or "happy."
I've hung the pendant from beautifully graduated genuine turquoise discs mixed with carved tiger's eye and gold vermeil. The finishing is a 14k gold-filled "S" clasp.
