This necklace has a story: the abstract, triangular part of the pendant in this necklace was originally part of a 20+-year-old pair of earrings. I *think* it is made of glass (but could be ceramic) and I don't have the identity of the talented artist that created it, unfortunately. One of the earrings was broken and the pair was destined for the trash bin. I loved the colors and thought it would really be a shame to not do something with it.
I turned unbroken original earring into a pendant and then built the 18.5" necklace around it using hematite, black onyx, labradorite, a Swarovski crystal, 14k gold-filled balls, a lovely gold vermeil bead, and a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.
